Moroccan athlete Othmane El Goumri (31) won, on September 17, the men’s race at the 2023 Sydney Marathon, clocking 2h 08 min 20 sec.
The Moroccan runner, who claimed his first victory following his win in the Dublin Marathon in 2019, beat Kenya’s Laban Kipngetich Korir (2h 08 min 43 sec) and Ethiopia’s Getaneh Molla Tamire (2h 11 min 22 sec).
