Germany’s State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, Jochen Flasbarth, praised Morocco’s “impressive” efforts to coordinate reconstruction following the earthquake that struck several regions of the Kingdom on September 8.
Following his meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, on September 21, Flasbarth stated, in a statement to Maghreb Arabe Presse (MAP), that “it is impressive to see how the government and other stakeholders are working to coordinate the reconstruction work that will be carried out over the coming months.”
On this occasion, the German official, who was accompanied by a large delegation, expressed his country’s commitment to providing support to Morocco in the wake of this painful ordeal.
Germany’s State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development also praised the fruitful discussions he had with Minister Bourita, noting that his visit to the Kingdom is a testament to Germany’s solidarity and support in these difficult circumstances.
