The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, received on October 4 in Rabat the Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, who is on an official visit to the Kingdom.
During the meeting, Minister Bourita praised the solid ties uniting the two Kingdoms and their shared determination to promote and raise these ties to higher levels, in accordance with the High Guidance of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may Allah Glorify Him, and of his brother, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salmane bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince and Chairman of the Council of Ministers, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salmane bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
The Moroccan minister also commended the advanced level of cooperation and coordination linking the competent authorities of the two brotherly countries, notably with regard to simplifying Hajj and Umrah procedures for Moroccan citizens, hailing in this regard the “Road to Makkah” initiative, an action launched by the Saudi authorities to serve pilgrims, as part of the “Saudi Vision 2030” program, which has included Morocco since last year.
