The Ivorian Minister of Economy and Finance, Adama Coulibaly, praised, on October 10 in Marrakech, the organization of the Annual Meetings of the World Bank (WB) Group and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Morocco, describing it as a source of satisfaction for all Africans.
In a statement to Maghreb Arabe Presse (MAP), the Ivorian minister expressed his “pride in the holding of the annual meetings on African soil, 50 years after the annual meetings took place in Kenya”.
“It is a source of satisfaction for all Africans”, emphasized the Ivorian minister, commending the successful organization of these meetings despite the earthquake that struck the Kingdom on September 8.
Coulibaly also expressed his admiration for Morocco’s resilience and his sympathy for the Moroccan people.
“We are on the second day of this event and everything is going well. It’s going to be a real success, given what we’ve seen”, concluded the Ivorian official.
