The Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, expressed, on December 19 in Marrakech, Morocco’s constant positions in support of Sudan’s territorial integrity and sovereignty and the adoption of dialogue as a basis for resolving the crisis.
During a joint press briefing with his Sudanese counterpart, Ali Al-Sadiq, Bourita expressed His Majesty King’s confidence in the ability of the Sudanese people to find solutions to this crisis.
In this regard, Bourita noted that Morocco is one of the countries that welcomed the Jeddah dialogue and other dialogues, expressing his hope that these efforts can lead to results that will bring stability and tranquility to the Sudanese people.
The Moroccan official added that Morocco, based on its strong human relations with Sudan, is ready to do everything possible to provide the necessary assistance to this brotherly country to achieve stability and national integrity.
Bourita also recalled, in a similar context, the solid historical ties uniting the Moroccan and Sudanese people, noting that the talks with Al Sadiq were an opportunity to examine ways to further strengthen bilateral relations and develop the situation in the brotherly country of Sudan.
