The work of the 6th edition of the Russian-Arab Cooperation Forum kicked off on December 20 in Marrakech.
This meeting is held at the level of Foreign Ministers and is chaired by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita.
The meeting will be marked by the presence of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Assistant Secretary General of the Arab League Houssam Zaki, and ministerial delegations from participating Arab states.
Morocco was designated to host the 6th edition during the last session of the Forum which was held in Moscow in April 2019, but the event was postponed several times due to Covid 19.
During this edition, discussions will mainly focus on cooperation between Russia and the Arab world, per current practices.
