The Moroccan government and its Italian counterpart signed, on March 27 in Rome, an agreement on the mutual recognition of driving licenses for conversion purposes.
The Agreement was signed by Morocco’s Ambassador to Italy, Youssef Balla, and the Vice-President of the Italian Council of Ministers, Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Matteo Salvini.
On this occasion, Salvini praised the progress achieved by Morocco in terms of road, rail, and port infrastructure, stressing the need to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the field of connectivity.
For his part, Balla noted that this Agreement reflects the firm and continuous commitment of the Moroccan government, in accordance with the High Instructions of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and the Very High solicitude with which the Sovereign has always surrounded the members of the Moroccan community.
In the same context, the Moroccan official affirmed that this new step is an addition to the legal arsenal regulating the excellent relations of cooperation and partnership between Morocco and Italy in several areas of common interest.
