Wishing to best prepare for its participation in the 2022 World Cup at the end of the year in Qatar, Morocco is holding a first preparation match! This Wednesday, the Moroccan Federation (FRMF) announced the holding of a friendly match against the United States on Wednesday June 1 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
This meeting will clearly aim to prepare the match against Canada, which will be the opponent of the band to Vahid Halilhodzic in Group F of the World Cup along with Belgium and Croatia.
A priori, the Atlas Lions will seek to organize a second friendly match in the following days, before continuing with the first two days of the CAN 2023 qualifiers which will see them face South Africa, Liberia and Zimbabwe (if their suspension is lifted by FIFA) in Group K.
