Beijing: Morocco Participates in 8th Edition of “Colorful World” Cultural Exhibition

The 8th edition of the “Colorful World” cultural exhibition kicked off on September 2 in the Chinese capital, Beijing, with the participation of approximately thirty countries, including Morocco.

On this occasion, the Moroccan Embassy in China has set up a stand in the capital’s vast Shougang Park exhibition center, highlighting Morocco’s cultural, civilizational, and tourist heritage.

Moroccan handicrafts, tourist brochures, and other documentation are presented to visitors wishing to explore the Kingdom’s main tourist destinations.

The exhibition also features institutional films and promotional videos that shed light on Morocco’s tourism and economic potential, as well as its wealth.

The Moroccan stand also highlights the development and splendor of the Kingdom’s Southern provinces.

Tea, the legendary symbol of Moroccan hospitality, was offered to the visitors of the stand, most of whom praised the Moroccan art of living, nurtured by a long history of generosity and coexistence.

The Moroccan stand attracts the interest of visitors with its colors, enchanting paintings, posters, books, and selection of handicrafts illustrating the know-how of Moroccan master craftsmen.

The exhibition’s visitors expressed their admiration for the Moroccan stand, which offered a glimpse of the richness and diversity of Moroccan culture.

Morocco’s participation in the “Colorful World” exhibition showcases the potential and diversity of several Moroccan regions, and enables Chinese and foreign visitors to explore the components of the Kingdom’s age-old cultural heritage, in addition to discovering the country’s flagship tourist destinations.

China’s tourist market accounts for over 100 million travelers, many of whom are resuming their travels abroad as the health situation improves.

The 8th edition of the “Colorful World” cultural exhibition aims to promote civilizational dialogue and cultural exchange and strengthen friendly relations between China and the rest of the world, particularly countries involved in the “Belt and Road” (BRI) initiative.
