Casablanca, June 22, 2022 – The Regional Council of the Order of Architects of the Center (CROAC) participates as part of its training cycle, in partnership with the BESIE design office and the company ALDES Groupe via its distributor FIPROMAT, the organization of training under the theme “Fire safety regulations in constructions”. The organizations kicked off this initiative recently, in the presence of Moroccan media players. of an essential aspect for their activity; the fact that they have to guarantee the safety of the citizens”, affirmed Mr. Mohamed Karim Sbai, President of the Regional Council of the Order of Architects of the Casablanca-Settat Region, Province of Béni Mellal, Azilal, Fqih Ben Salah and Khouribga.
Training is part of the main technical solutions and organizational methods for the adoption of the main measures to reduce the probability of occurrence of a fire, as stipulated in the Moroccan fire safety guide. To meet the regulatory requirements for the safety of people, several important parameters must be taken into consideration, in particular the nature of the activity, and the nature of the building and construction method.
As the act of constructing a building is the responsibility of the architect, this training aims to raise awareness of the need to design projects capable of meeting the needs of users, while respecting the many requirements and obligations of order. legislative, regulatory or technical. Since fire safety constraints are essential, they must be part of the upstream design process, insofar as they condition the project and anticipate the consideration of regulatory obligations.
It is in this context that the prevention of risks, fire and safety in a design project constitutes a decisive factor in the protection of human lives, which involves all the stakeholders and commits them to mastering the regulations in matter. However, the regulatory application must be confronted with the reality of the field and its constraints to take into account several elements (functional, technical, thermal and economic aspects). The training allows participants to shed light on new practices by framing their knowledge and directing their skills by several means, from design to delivery.
