Forbes Highlights Morocco’s Remarkable Evolution in Aeronautics

American magazine “Forbes” shed light on the “remarkable” development of the aeronautics industry in Morocco, emphasizing that the Kingdom, as a dynamic and strategic country, is promoting itself as a leading player.

Business Strategist and Entrepreneur and CEO of “Strategiae,” Henri Al Helaly, stated in an article entitled “What Aviation Professionals Should Know When Expanding To Morocco” that “the global aviation industry is expected to grow over the next 10 years, and I believe Morocco is emerging as a key player, as businesspeople can leverage its favorable geographic location, skilled workforce, and progressive business environment.

Recalling his working experience with companies in the aviation sector, Al Hilaly stated that he is currently finalizing a joint venture to provide maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services in Morocco.

Thanks to his experience, the business strategist affirmed that he learned several things about Morocco, its aerospace industry, and the advantages that businessmen and investors can enjoy through investment in the Kingdom.

In his article for Forbes, Al Hilaly shed light on Morocco’s strategic positioning between Europe and Africa, stressing that the Kingdom is an attractive hub for the aviation industry and serves as a gateway to major markets for companies and business opportunities.

“The strategic advantage of being a crossroads between continents enables Morocco to serve as a convenient stopover,” wrote the CEO of “Strategiae” in his article, indicating that for European investors, Morocco’s proximity to Europe is advantageous in terms of extending operations and prospecting new markets.

The article also noted that Morocco’s value-added aerospace trade is one of its rapid-growing sectors, underlining that the Kingdom has established itself as a reliable and profitable destination for maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services.

Forbes further highlighted that aviation and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services in Morocco represent a plethora of employment opportunities for the local workforce, especially as the country boasts a pool of skilled, multilingual talent that companies can draw on, noting that the Kingdom’s growth in business aviation and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services can also profit customers in Africa and Europe.

According to Al Hilaly, Moroccan suppliers often offer competitive prices that, “when combined with a commitment to quality, this presents an attractive alternative to more expensive options in the region.”

In this regard, the article’s writer added that “Morocco offers cost-effective solutions for businesspeople and investors as well, which can allow them to optimize their budgets and potentially increase profitability.”

Referring to the business climate in Morocco, Forbes highlighted the investment incentives, political stability, and the government’s support, stressing that Morocco is positioning itself as a preferred destination for businessmen and investors, all the more so as “the Moroccan government has invested heavily in modern infrastructure development, including airports.”

The article also cited Morocco’s air, sea, and land connectivity as one of its key advantages, which can help boost trade relations in the region, enabling businessmen and investors to expand their networks and establish new strategic partnerships.

Forbes’ article also stated that Morocco’s development in business aviation and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services reflect its emergence as a leading player in the global aviation industry, stressing that the expansion of these sectors will contribute to generating new employment opportunities and position the country as a provider of cost-effective and efficient solutions for customers in Africa and Europe.

The article concluded that as Morocco proceeds to invest “in infrastructure, talent development, and regulatory frameworks, its aviation sector is poised for further growth and will contribute to the country’s economic prosperity and reinforce its position as a preferred destination for business aviation and MRO services.”
