The International Committee for Supporting Palestinian People highly commended the clear and constant position of the Kingdom of Morocco and His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of al-Quds Committee, in support of the Palestinian cause.
The Committee noted in a statement that this position “supports Palestinians’ rights to establish an independent state with East al-Quds as its capital.”
The Committee also highlighted the deep and historic relations between the Kingdom and Palestine, expressing its gratitude to His Majesty the King for chairing al-Quds Committee, which is a part of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), as well as for His constant support to the Holy City of al-Quds and Palestinians.
In a similar context, this independent Committee, established by the Afro-Asian People’s Solidarity Organization, rejects the manipulation of the Palestinian cause for the benefit of political agendas and partisan electoral campaigns.
The Committee denounced, in this regard, the statement of the General Secretariat of the Justice and Development Party (PJD) on the relations between Morocco and Israel and the irresponsible inclusion of the Palestinian cause in this matter.
