The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rachid Talbi Alami, held talks on February 12 in Rabat with a delegation from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), led by Advisor and Mission Chief Roberto Cardarelli.
On this occasion, Cardarelli noted that the delegation’s visit is part of the annual consultations carried out by the IMF under Article 4 of its statutes, aimed at reviewing the economic policies and reforms launched by the Kingdom to ensure strong, global, and inclusive development.
For his part, Talbi Alami shed light on the major economic, financial, and social reforms the Kingdom has undertaken in recent years under the Enlightened Leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may Allah assist Him.
In the same context, the Lower House Speaker referred to the stability and security enjoyed by the Kingdom of Morocco, praising on this occasion the fruitful cooperation and mutual trust between Morocco and the IMF.
This meeting took place in the presence of the president of the Finance and Economic Development Committee within the House of Representatives, Mohamed Chaouki.
