Morocco will participate in the first edition of the Wheelchair World Padel Championships, which will be held in Serranillos del Valle, Spain between May 12 and 14.
Morocco is the only Arab and African country participating in this historical edition, competing in Group A with the host country, Spain, France, and Costa Rica. Group B includes Argentina, Chile, and the Netherlands.
The two winners of each group will compete in the championship finals to determine the winner of the championship, while the runner-ups will compete for the bronze medal.
Similarly, the third of each group will compete for the fifth and sixth places. Each match will be played in three sets, and the country with the best of two sets will win the match.
Spain and Argentina, as international powers in wheelchair padel, are the odds-on favorites to snatch the Wheelchair World Padel Championships title.
