UK Praises HM King Mohammed VI’s Leadership in Promoting Stability, Peace, Development

The British government praised Tuesday in Rabat the leading role of His Majesty King Mohammed VI in promoting Morocco as a key player for stability, peace, and development in the Mediterranean, Sahel, and West African regions.

This recognition followed the 4th session of the Morocco-UK Strategic Dialogue, marked by a joint Declaration in which Morocco and the UK expressed their commitment to strengthening bilateral ties, notably in the areas of economy, security, and cultural cooperation.

Morocco and UK’s joint Declaration commended Morocco’s efforts to preserve the region’s peace and stability and its leading role in countering terrorism and violent extremism.

The two governments also reaffirmed their commitment to working together to address common challenges and promote security and prosperity in the region.

On this occasion, the British government expressed its gratitude to Morocco for its constant support in the management of irregular migration and its commitment to promoting human rights and good governance, pledging to work closely together on these issues.

The British government also praised the excellent cooperation ties uniting Morocco and the UK, reiterating its commitment to strengthening bilateral ties with Morocco over the upcoming years.
