Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, met Tuesday in Rabat, with a delegation of British conservative parliamentarians from the House of Lords, who are currently on a working visit to Morocco.
In a statement to the press following this meeting, British parliamentarian Lord Stuart Polak praised the positive ties that unite Morocco and the UK, noting that the parliamentary delegation is visiting Morocco to exchange expertise and boost cooperation in several areas.
Lord Polak also added that the delegation will visit Morocco’s southern provinces for a better understanding of the situation in the Moroccan Sahara.
The British delegation, which includes Lords Stuart Polak, James Arbuthnot, Alastair Colin, Leckie Campbell, and Eric Pickles, also held talks with the Speaker of the House of Councilors, Enaam Mayara, on ways to strengthen parliamentary cooperation between the House of Councilors and the British House of Lords.
