British Airline EasyJet to Connect Bristol, Marrakech

British airline EasyJet announced on May 26 a new flight connection between Bristol and Marrakech, with two weekly flights starting from October 31.

The British carrier reported in a joint statement with Bristol Airport that this new airline connection offers an enhanced selection for customers in the South West “seeking a fair-weather getaway at any time of the year.”

“Marrakech is known for its colorful souks, Moorish architecture, intimate gardens, and charming Riads, making it a culturally rich vacation destination,” added the statement.

Quoted in the release, EasyJet’s Country Manager for the UK, Ali Gayward, said that the launch of this new connection reflects the ongoing demand for travel from the UK, assuring that the new route “will give customers in the South West wider choices for their vacations.”

For his part, Bristol Airport’s Commercial Director noted that this new connection is an “exciting” new destination to add to Bristol Airport’s network, stressing that it “will undoubtedly catch the attention of travelers from across the region and Wales who wish to use their local airport.”

The launch of new routes from the UK next winter is part of EasyJet’s journey towards growth. The airline plans to operate its biggest-ever summer flight program in the UK, with an increase of 8% in capacity compared to the pre-pandemic period and over a million more seats during the summer peak.
