His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolences and sympathy to the family of the renowned journalist the late Malika Meliani (Sayyida Layla).
In this message, His Majesty the King stated that he learned with sadness the news of the passing of the late Malika Meliani, imploring Allah to welcome the deceased in His vast paradise.
On this painful occasion, His Majesty the King expressed his heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy to the family, relatives, and loved ones of the deceased, her national media family, and all her friends and admirers, following the loss of “this eminent journalist belonging to the first generation of Moroccan radio presenters, recognized for her competence and creativity,” noting that the late Sayyida Layla had, for several decades, marked the national radio landscape with varied and constructive programs that earned her the love and esteem of generations of radio enthusiasts.
Sympathizing with the deceased’s family members in this painful ordeal, divine will being unstoppable, His Majesty the King recalled with esteem the late Malika Meliani’s humane qualities, sincere patriotism, and unwavering attachment to the Glorious Alawite Throne, imploring Allah to surround the deceased with His mercy and grant the members of her family patience and comfort.
