His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may Allah assist Him, addressed a written message to His brother, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar.
The Qatar News Agency stated that His Majesty the King’s message focuses on the bilateral relations between Morocco and Qatar and discussed ways to strengthen and develop these relations.
The message was delivered to the Deputy Emir of Qatar, HH Sheikh Abdallah bin Hamad Al Thani, who received it on behalf of HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, during a meeting held on August 7 at the Princely Cabinet with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, and the Minister Delegate in charge of the Budget, Fouzi Lekjaa.
During this meeting, Bourita conveyed His Majesty the King’s greetings to His brother HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and HH the Deputy Emir, and the Sovereign’s best wishes for health and well-being of their Highnesses and the development and progress of the Qatari people.
For his part, Qatar’s Deputy Emir extended to Minister Bourita the greetings of the Emir of Qatar and his greetings to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, wishing the Sovereign health and happiness and the Moroccan people further progress and prosperity.
The meeting provided an opportunity to review the solid fraternal relations between Morocco and Qatar and examine issues of common interest.
