His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may Allah assist Him, addressed a message of thanks and gratitude to the President of the State of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, for the participation of an Emirati search and rescue team in the relief and rescue efforts that followed the September 8 earthquake.
In this message, the Sovereign expressed to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan His sincere thanks and deep appreciation for His Highness’ sincere feelings of compassion and his active solidarity in support of the victims of the painful earthquake that struck Al Haouz region.
His Majesty the King expressed, on His behalf and on behalf of all Moroccans, His heartfelt thanks and gratitude to HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his noble and generous humanitarian initiative to deploy an Emirati rescue team, which provided strong support to its Moroccan counterpart and reflected the solid ties of affection and sincere brotherhood uniting the two brotherly peoples.
The Sovereign also praised the bonds of friendship and fraternity uniting His Majesty the King to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the two Families, as well as the solid fraternal relations linking the two countries, based on fruitful cooperation and active solidarity.
On this occasion, His Majesty King Mohammed VI reiterated to the UAE President His thanks and gratitude for His Highness’ unwavering support for his second homeland, the Kingdom of Morocco.
