Minister of Justice Abdelatif Ouahbi Holds Talks with DRC Minister of State to Strengthen Bilateral Cooperation

Minister of Justice, Abdellatif Ouahbi, held talks, in Addis Ababa, with the Minister of State, Minister of Justice of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rose Mutombo Kiese, to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation.

During this meeting, the two ministers had an exchange on issues of common interest and agreed to strengthen cooperation between their respective departments.

On this occasion, Ouahbi extended an invitation to the Congolese Minister for a visit to Morocco at the end of next month, to further strengthen this cooperation.

For her part, Kiese reaffirmed her country’s desire to strengthen cooperation between the two friendly countries, underlining the efforts invested in this matter.

Minister of Justice Abdelatif Ouahbi takes part in Addis Ababa in the Ministerial Meeting of the Specialized Technical Committee for Justice and Legal Affairs of the African Union, which began the work of its 8th ordinary session last Saturday.

Ouahbi leads the Moroccan delegation which is composed of a number of senior officials, including Mohamed Arrouchi, Ambassador, Permanent Representative of Morocco to the African Union and the UN Economic Commission for Africa.
