Oman Praises Morocco’s Role in Maintaining, Promoting Peace in Africa

Oman praised, on July 4, Morocco’s pioneering role under the Wise Leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI in consolidating the foundations of peace and development in Africa.

This position was expressed in a joint statement issued following the sixth session of the Morocco-Oman Joint Commission, co-chaired by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, and his Omani counterpart,  Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi.

Oman praised, in this regard, the Kingdom’s pioneering role under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI in advocating security and stability at both the regional and international levels and the Sovereign’s sustained efforts to consolidate peace and development in Africa.

The Omani Minister of Foreign Affairs is on an official visit to Morocco, leading a delegation from his country, which includes representatives from several sectors, on the occasion of the sixth session of the Morocco-Oman Joint Commission.
