Planning: Egypt gets 63.6 points in the Arab Sustainable Development Goals Index 2022

In its report, the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development reviewed Egypt’s performance in the “Sustainable Development Goals Index for the Arab Region for 2022” report, in its second edition, which provides data on the performance of 22 Arab countries towards achieving the sustainable development goals.

Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, stressed that Egypt is keen to achieve the goals of sustainable development and takes all efforts that contribute to achieving this, noting also to Egypt’s efforts to maintain its advanced position among the Arab countries and North Africa.

With regard to Egypt’s performance in the Sustainable Development Goals Index and Egypt’s position at the level of the Arab region, El-Said pointed to the high overall score that Egypt obtained to reach 63.6 points, which indicates the improvement of Egypt’s performance in achieving the sustainable development goals, to cross nearly two-thirds of the way towards achieving international goals.
