The Ministry of Royal Palaces, Honors, and Decorations Mourns her Royal Highness, Princess Lalla Malika

The Ministry of Royal Palaces, Honors and Decorations, fully affected and deeply saddened by the death of the late Her Royal Highness, Princess Lalla Malika, the gracious of the late His Majesty King Mohammed V, May Allah rest his soul, the sister of the late His Majesty King Hassan II, and the aunt of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. Allah has best accepted her to his side, covered by forgiveness and contentment, Tuesday 20 Safar Al-Khair 1443 Hijri, 28 September 2021, in Rabat city.

A statement to the ministry stated that “on this painful occasion, the Ministry of Royal Palaces, Honors and Decorations, and all components of the Moroccan people, offer the warmest condolences and the most sincere feelings of sympathy to His Majesty The King, may Allah protect him, and to all members of the Holy Royal Family in this painful affliction, asking the Almighty to accept her among the Righteous among his servants and to reward her with the best reward for the services she rendered to her homeland, and we belong to Allah and to him we will return”.

Further, the report added that in view of the continued implementation of preventive measures required by the developments in the health situation, His Majesty the King has ensured that the funeral of the deceased will take place in a special family setting and very limited attendance, in full respect of these procedures.
