His Majesty King Mohammed VI has received a congratulatory message from American President Joseph R. Biden on the occasion of Throne Day.
In this message, Biden expressed, on behalf of the American people, his best wishes to His Majesty the King and the Moroccan people on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of the Sovereign’s accession to the throne of His glorious Ancestors.
The American President emphasized that “the strategic and lasting partnership between Morocco and the US has been promoting peace, security, and prosperity both regionally and internationally,” noting that the two countries “have accomplished a great deal together, particularly in the fight against extremism and the promotion of religious freedom.”
“We are working together to counter terrorism and forge a more secure future for our people, and together, we are dealing with global challenges and advancing our shared priorities in Africa and around the world,” explained the American President.
President Biden also expressed his commitment to “further strengthening this exceptional partnership between our two nations, and the deep-rooted bonds of friendship uniting our peoples in the year ahead.”
