Pakistan: Road in Karachi Named after Moroccan City Marrakech

The authorities of Karachi, the largest city in Pakistan and the country’s economic and financial capital, named the road linking Karachi Law College to the PIDC Bridge “Marrakech Avenue”.

The Moroccan Embassy in Islamabad said in a statement that naming the road after the city of Marrakech reflects the long-standing fraternal and cooperative ties between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, praising, in this regard, the friendship ties that unite the two countries.

This initiative further contributes to the strengthening and enrichment of the decentralized cooperation that exists between the cities and provinces of the two countries.
